What is the current focus of your career?

As a nonprofit leadership coach, I help new and aspiring nonprofit leaders develop and enhance their program and operational skills to achieve program success.

What prompted your career reinvention?

After 30 years in the nonprofit sector, including 15 years as an executive leader, I faced stress, burnout, stigma, mental health concerns, and a challenging balance between family and career. This prompted my transition to coaching and consulting to support others in similar situations.

What's the best thing about mid-life career change?

The best thing about mid-life career change is the opportunity to leverage decades of experience in a new and impactful way, allowing for personal growth and the chance to help others achieve their own career and leadership goals.

What's the biggest challenge?

The biggest challenge is adapting to a new career path while building a client base and establishing a stable income, all while navigating the transition from a traditional role to a consulting and coaching practice.

What's your personal mantra/mission? Why?

"Empower others to achieve their potential and overcome obstacles. My mission is to help nonprofit leaders excel by sharing the lessons learned from my own journey and fostering resilience." Your best career advice for other women at midlife is...

"Embrace change and use your experiences as a strength. Stay committed to your goals, seek out new opportunities, and remember that it’s never too late to pursue a passion or make a difference."
