Meet Susan Eckert. Susan is a mindset transformation coach. She teaches individuals & organizations innovative energy balance techniques so they can shift focus from over-DOING (resulting in stress, overwhelm & burnout) to achieving calm, clarity, & connection—amplifying awareness of who they’re BEING & aligning with their unique Vision, Mission & Purpose.

Read on to learn about Susan's career reinvention and how she's sharing her value with the world!

What is the current focus of your career?

I’m coming full circle. Covid helped me reevaluate and decide to return to my first love - coaching. I’m building a platform for mindset transformation coaching, which integrates my MA in psych from Columbia university, hypnosis certifications, and energy healing work which I’m also passionate about. I spent the last 15 years, though, as a women's transformation photographer.

What prompted your career reinvention?

Getting tired - photography is hard work. Also a spiritual awakening has me wanting to go deeper in this mindset work - connecting it to spiritual wellness.

What's the best thing about mid-life career change?

I’ve overcome fears and blocks I had when I was younger! And I’m soooooo much wiser now! I can relate to most people on some level! Been through a LOT!

What's the biggest challenge?

Tech. Haha. Im sure you hear this a lot. Gosh things move so quickly now! I was a career coach in the early 2000s. I hung a shingle and people showed up! Not the same now!

What's your personal mantra/mission? Why?

I help women transform their mindsets so they can own their worth and become unstoppable in the pursuit of their biggest dreams. Shed the sh*t—by that I mean all the naysayers, expectations,

Your best career advice for other women in midlife is...

Shed the sh*t—by that I mean all the naysayers, expectations, opinionated buffoons, negative nellys, societal conditioning, gender rules, whatever had held you back til now - let it go!!!! Shed the layers to get back to your true core essence! This is YOUR time!
