What prompted your career reinvention? I was turning 40 in a year and knew my passion was shifting to help people on their career journey.
What's the best thing about midlife career change? FREEDOM
What's the biggest challenge? Learning a new way of being
What's your personal mantra or mission? Why? "I can and I will". I realized that self doubt and inner critics creep in all the time during my reinvention. I bought a necklace with this mantra on it, and while I intended to give it as a gift, I realized that it was something I needed to remind myself of daily.
Your best career advice for other women at midlife is... Don't listen to advice from others (who are often projecting their own fears onto you) - go inward and listen to what you already know is your next step in the journey.
