What's the current focus of your career?
My current focus is my role as Founder & CEO of Hello Career Guru.Hello Career Guru’s mission is to advance the career of all women no matter what age, background, income, geography, and race.
Hello Career Guru is the first-ever artificial intelligence (AI) powered virtual career trainer to help women advance professionally. We offer women one unifying platform for developing their personalized career game plan guided by executive insights, recommended actions, and curated content. With expertise and ease, we want to make mentoring and career development accessible and manageable, integrated into women's daily lives for a better future for all.
What prompted your career reinvention? Founding Hello Career Guru is a passion project. The fact that more women aren't in the C-Suite is a serious problem in America. While I have been mentoring other women over the last 25 years, it has been very frustrating to see them hit the glass ceiling and not receive the roles they deserve.
What's the best thing about midlife career change? You are wiser and can bring a tremendous amount of experience to a new opportunity. Age is your super power!
What's the biggest challenge? Finding funding as a female founder.
