Say buy-bye 2020 with a year in review

We love a year in review! One of the shortest routes to self-confidence, if you’ve been out of the workforce awhile or are unsure how to make a change, is to take stock of your accomplishments.

When’s the last time you sat down and thought about the top career wins across your career? Maybe never!

Start now. Take the first few days of this fresh new year to take stock of your accomplishments and what went well for you in your own year in review. There’s been so much talk of saying goodbye to 2020, but we know there were positive things that came out of this time too.

Start by writing down 10 professional “wins” of 2020 (interviewing, networking, attending webinars, updating your resume, building out your LinkedIn profile, learning a new skill or taking a course-- those all count!). When we write down our wins, we own them!

Capture the positive and you’ll create more of it in the year to come!

In composing our EvolveMe year in review, we reflected on the last 12 months. What a year it was!

Just over a year ago, EvolveMe hosted its very first in-person meetup in NYC. No way we imagined celebrating our one-year anniversary having pivoted into a virtual company, reaching women across the U.S. and beyond.

As 2020 draws to a close, we’re grateful for many milestones -- even in this most unusual year. And they all have to do with you!

One of the most touching things a Reinvention Collective participant shared:

Thank you Linda and Judy for leading us toward change and reinvention, and creating a caring and supportive community. Getting to know you and the EvolveMe Reinvention Collective cohort were a highlight of the year for me!

That you’ve shown up, investing in yourself & making progress one step at a time, has been a highlight of OUR year!

EvolveMe gave us purpose during this challenging times. And we want you to find the same meaning in your work!

We’re proud of all we’ve accomplished together!

  1. Our series of free weekly Midday Momentum virtual meetups during the first wave of the pandemic (March - May) that gave women a place to connect and have community.

  2. Our first ever virtual Reinvention Collective which sold out this fall. Participants engaged in 60+ hours of group training & accountability meetups plus self-paced work! Women in our two Fall 2020 Reinvention Collective cohorts are interviewing, landing multiple job offers, winning consulting gigs, launching businesses and starting nonprofits. We’re in awe of you! Sign up here for a FREE 1:1 Strategy Session with us to see if the Reinvention Collective (coming again in February 2021) is right for you!

  3. We’ve created a fun and engaged EvolveMe Membership community with 2x monthly members meetups and challenge worksheets to keep you on track and gain momentum for your career transition. We love engaging with our members on EvolveMe’s private Slack community sharing tips, inspirations, articles and rooting each other on! Keep posting! Not a member? Join us as a member HERE!

  4. Working with women leaders and mentors and partnering with career expert guest speakers has enriched our community. Women leaders joined us from Google, Fairygodboss, Working for Women, the Global FoodBanking Network, WatchHerProsper, Ameriprise, Fly Female Founders to name a few!

  5. Media highlights focused on women’s work lives disproportionately affected by the health crisis and how EvolveMe offers women a process to pivot careers and be ready to return to the workforce.
