What is your personal mantra, mission, or manifesto? Believe in yourself and persevere, and you will succeed.

What inspired you to launch your current career/launch your business? I founded several small businesses, and my extensive experience and expertise inspired me to launch a consulting firm where I work with entrepreneurs on branding, marketing, and overall strategies for success.

What is unique about returning/pivoting in midlife? Challenges & opportunities? I found that recognizing how much I had already accomplished and figuring out how to apply that to a new career enabled me to find my niche. It was challenging to get started, but networking and support from others helped move me forward.

What’s one intention you have for your work this year? Connect with more business owners and help them scale successfully.

What are you most passionate about right now? I really enjoy hearing other entrepreneurs' stories, and networking has become a favorite pastime these days. I am passionate about using my unique experience to help others.

What does a typical day look like for you? Exercise class every morning, then lots of Zoom calls with clients and networking, then dinner with my family.

What’s the one thing that has advanced your career in the last year? Joining groups of like-minded women and putting myself out there even when I am unsure of the outcome

Who’s your “tribe” when it comes to professional inspiration or support? I am a part of several groups--all of which offer professional support and inspiration

Favorite book, app, or podcast? My favorite book is The Personal Librarian, love following Sara Blakely!

You’re granted an extra hour in the day; how do you spend it? Hanging out with friends and family

The advice I wish I had given to my 20-year-old self is… Always be open-minded and connect with as many interesting people as possible.

The advice that I want to give to my 75-year-old self is... Keep doing what you love

Best career advice for other women? Look at your past experience and what you love to do--figure out how to turn that into a job that works for you. Do what you love!

When did you feel you got “you” back? After working with EvolveMe and attending a cohort--then launching my consulting business.

What’s up next? Scaling my consulting business--working with small and mid-size brands. Also, working with a group of talented women in the fashion arena.
